About Gabe Jimenez –

Gabe Jimenez is a guitarist currently based out of his hometown, San Antonio, Texas. He is the youngest sibling of three and his passion for music grew early on from having been exposed to multiple genres of music ranging from Tejano to Blues.

Gabe began playing guitar around the age of 8 and pulled inspiration from guitar greats like Tom Morello, Slash, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. A self-taught guitarist, Gabe spent endless hours honing his skills. As his playing ability improved, he began playing with local musicians throughout San Antonio.

In 2018, Gabe had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the area's top musicians leading to the formation of his current band “The Rambling Souls.” Their debut EP "The Road Less Traveled" was released in late 2018 which reflects their Texan roots by blending classic southern rock with blues and modern guitar tones.

The Rambling Souls have quickly gained popularity playing at the 2019 SXSW in Austin, Texas and touring the West Coast with a stop at the legendary venue “The Mint” in Los Angeles, California. The Rambling Souls were also featured in studio on the “Covino and Rich Show“ on SiriusXM in Los Angeles.

In 2020 The Rambling Souls released their second EP “Vices” which combines a blend of familiar sounds from Delta Blues to 90’s Alternative Rock. Gabe is currently working on new material with The Rambling Souls as well as releasing his own solo debut EP.
