Frank Mighty
"I was always *aware* of my strumming to try and not hit the switch, but inevitably it would always happen, changing the tone mid-song, something I'd notice ALWAYS (but hopefully the audience never did). Now I just don't have to think about it, it's really really nice!!!" ~ Frank Mighty
About Frank Mighty –
Frank Mighty is a Syrian-Canadian artist from Calgary blending anthemic indie rock with cinematic, 80s-inspired textures. Drawing comparisons to The War on Drugs, his guitar-driven songs carry soaring melodies and a sense of motion suited for backcountry adventures and long drives. Described by Wonderland Magazine as “somewhere between Passion Pit and MGMT,” his debut EP Whispersongs (2021) earned critical acclaim, with mixes by Grammy Award-winner Jacquire King and a placement in Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia.
His 2023 EP Never Homesick, produced by Frans Mernick, reflects travels through the Canadian Rockies and Pacific Northwest. The single “Unattainable” surpassed 265,000 streams and led to performances at key Canadian festivals like Tall Pines Arts and Music Festival. In 2024, Frank released Nexterday, earning Spotify and Apple Music editorial support, Exclaim! coverage, and an opening slot for Quinn XCII. Now preparing to tour his debut album Shoulder Season (April 2026), Frank Mighty brings a powerful, full-band live show built for festival stages.
